John Hockley faced his fears and abseiled 350 foot down The Spinnaker Tower

John Hockley, our Technical Sales Manager, has recently completed a sponsored 350 foot abseil down The Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

Those of you who know John will have noted that he is still responding to emails and isn't walking funny, so it is safe to assume he completed the 100m+ abseil without causing himself any long term harm.

John, like most sensible adults, has a fear of heights and admits he was putting on a brave face whilst going over the edge of the tower, when really all he wanted to do was 'cry like a baby'.

Through John's immense bravery he raised over £600 for The Stroke Association and the weekend’s abseils cumulatively raised over £50,000 with over 100 people choosing to scare themselves silly for charity!
