Ampoules are the most common packaging for liquid fill pharmaceuticals across the globe as they have some important advantages over other forms of packaging.

Ampoule Benefits:

• they are relatively cheap
• contents only in contact with one material - Type I glass
• the packaging is 100% tamper-proof
• being made from Type I glass they are highly inert

From stock we can offer a large range of SCHOTT Type I Glass Ampoules from 1ml - 50ml in either colourbreak or OPC, Clear or Amber, ISO standard (ISO 9187-1:2006) or custom, Open or Closed, Form B or Form D.

We can also have ampoules produced with colour coded rings and screen printing to indicate the contents of the ampoule and reduce counterfeiting.
