SCHOTT Pharma continued to invest in research and development, introducing innovations such as SCHOTT TopLyo® vials, designed to improve lyophilisation processes for sensitive pharmaceuticals. These vials feature a hydrophobic inner surface coating to reduce fogging and enhance product recovery, ensuring better stability and safety for critical drug formulations.
Adelphi played a vital role in ensuring these innovations reached pharmaceutical manufacturers, helping them transition to next-generation glass vials that improved product safety and shelf life. In 2010, Adelphi received its first order for pre-fillable syringes, further expanding its portfolio of advanced packaging solutions.
Throughout this period, Adelphi and SCHOTT Pharma worked together to support pharmaceutical companies in meeting stricter regulatory requirements. Their partnership ensured that manufacturers, Drug Development companies and CMO's enjoyed fast access to packaging solutions that not only met industry standards but also helped improve patient safety.
In 2011, Adelphi built a new warehouse featuring 256 solar panels, super-insulation, and space-efficient mobile racking, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability.
