One of the key developments has been SCHOTT Pharma’s focus on specialty glass vials designed for sensitive biologics and gene therapies. Adelphi has played a crucial role in distributing these advanced solutions to customers of all sizes, ensuring they have access to the latest packaging technologies.

In 2016, Adelphi expanded its warehouse facilities to include repacking rooms, further enhancing its service capabilities. In 2019, the company began distributing the adaptiQ® range of sterile ready-to-use vials, delivering on its commitment to supporting evolving industry needs.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, SCHOTT Pharma’s vials played a crucial role in vaccine storage and, experiencing unprecedented demand. Adelphi helped ensure a stable supply of these critical vials to other pharmaceutical manufacturers, thanks to increased warehouse capacity, agile processes, with the ability to fulfil global requests with fast turnaround times.

By 2024, Adelphi Healthcare Packaging’s exports accounted for 60% of its £30 million turnover across over 50 countries. The Adelphi Group now employs over 100 valued employees with a total turnover of approximately £40 million.
