Product compatibility

  • Suitable for integration with SCHOTT sterile vials, aluminium crimp seals and automated capping systems.
  • It is also possible to supply alternative Rubber Stoppers sterile and Pyrofree®.

  • Material: Pharmaceutical-grade butyl rubber.
  • Sterility: Steam sterilised, supplied RTU.
  • Sizes: To suit 13mm and 20mm crimp necked vials.
  • Coatings: FluroTec® or other barrier coatings available.
  • Compliance: Conforms to USP, EP and JP for pharmaceutical closures Pyrofree® stoppers are processed and depyrogenated by Eurofins Disposable Lab, who are accredited to ISO 15378:2017.

Pyrofree® stoppers are supplied sterile in a secure bag with full Sterility and Endotoxin Certification. These high-quality West FluroTec® stoppers are pre-sterilised and ready-to-use, reducing contamination risks and streamlining processes for manufacturers.

Product applications

Sterile Rubber Stoppers are ideal for use in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, including vaccines, biologics, antibiotics and sensitive injectable formulations. Their pre-sterilised format is especially suited to aseptic production lines and isolator-based filling systems.
