We are actively working to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. This includes reducing carbon emissions, minimising waste and exploring opportunities to reuse and recycle materials. That’s paired with promoting responsible energy and resource use across our facilities.
People
We strive to create a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace for all employees. From wellbeing initiatives to learning and development opportunities, we ensure our people are empowered to thrive. That extends to our strong health and safety culture on site, with a clear commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our teams.
Our apprenticeship programme demonstrates how we invest in future talent and champion social mobility. In addition to our apprenticeship scheme, we also welcomed our first intern in 2025, broadening opportunities for early career development.
Community
Giving back is part of our culture. We support several local and national charities through fundraising, volunteering and donations. We also look for opportunities to engage with schools and community groups to inspire future careers in science, manufacturing and healthcare. Each year, we host Year 10 work experience placements, and actively engage with STEM initiatives to inspire future careers in science and healthcare.
Whether it’s rebuilding Parkers MOT or providing purpose-built facilities for Rok Skool at reduced rent, we actively support local businesses too.
We also offer reduced rent housing for key workers, helping to support those essential to our community.
Ethics & Governance
We maintain high standards of integrity in every aspect of our business. From supplier relationships to data protection and product safety, we operate with transparency, accountability and a commitment to doing the right thing.
Our Commitment in Action
Our sustainability efforts are underpinned by data and third-party assessment. We engage with platforms such as EcoVadis, SBTi and Carbon Fit to track and validate our progress in key CSR areas. We are also in the process of pursuing B-Corp certification as a further demonstration of our long-term commitment to people, performance and the planet.
Looking Ahead
Corporate social responsibility is not a box-ticking exercise. It’s an ongoing journey. We will continue to set ambitious goals, partner with ethical suppliers and support the communities and industries we’re proud to serve.
