Product Applications
With three designs to choose from, West’s aluminium seals offer options to suit drug development, diagnostics and pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. In addition, the button allows for safe and easy stopper access, with flexible options to suit applications from drug development to final drug packaging.
Flip-Off® seals are designed to seal vials containing injectable drugs. The plastic button is flipped off to expose the central area of the stopper, ready for extraction of the drug by needle.
Flip-Off seals are also available sterilised for aseptic production processes, see West Clean, Certified, Sterilised seals
Flip Tear Up seals can be torn off fully, allowing the stopper to be removed for direct access to the vial contents.
Flip Off Tear Off (FOTO) seals offer full flexibility. The button can be flipped off to expose a central section of the stopper as with the Flip-Off® seal, while underneath the button you will also find a ring-pull which facilitates full removal of the aluminium seal.
